Cougar News Week of Nov. 4, 2019 The weather for today and the week is going to be in the mid 70's to a low 60's and high winds. No wonder there is so much dirt in the air. So, then make sure to bring a jacket and a pair of gloves.  That's why I'm seeing, so many jackets in the lost and found. Please make sure you don't leave your jackets on the playground. Back to you! Hello King Cougars, This week our school is having a fundraising night at the nearby El Pollo Loco. I don't know about you, but I love some warm chicken, and they have churros! I love those! They also just recently added the $5 meals. You get a drink and chips with your meal for only $5. Tell your family to take you Tell your family to take you to El Pollo Loco on La Palma Avenue this Thursday November 7th from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. 20% of what you buy will go towards the sixth grade science camp. Make sure to mention "King PTA" when you order.  Back to you! Hello King students, this is Devin and Chloe here reporting on trash around the school. What!  Really?  Yes, can you believe that? Litter is everywhere on campus, especially after lunch.  Wow, how do you think this is happening? Kids are dropping their trash on the ground and then the wind just blows it away everywhere. It makes our school look so messy. Yeah, you're right. Lately I have seen Mr. Luis picking up a lot of trash. What do you think? What do you suggest the students need to do? This is our school and EVERYONE should do their part.  Clean up trash, even if it's not yours. Don't forget to pick up any trash you see. EVEN IF IT'S NOT YOURS! Back to you! Hi! everyone. This is Miss Bergman and I just want to announce the parts for this year's play, Madagascar Jr.  First of all, I want to say thank you for everyone who tried out.  Everyone did a great job!  Thank you!  Thank you! I'm going to announce the main parts. The chorus will be announced later, after I'm finished.  So first of all, playing the part of the Cameraman, that would be Lucia S. Maya Meza, you are playing Candy. Lars will be played by Izza A. Isabella A, you are playing the part of Lee. Catalina B, you have the part of Lew Mariflor, you are the Lioness. Anayansi C you are Lynn. Maile W., you're playing Mason. Abigail P, you're playing Mort. Shaina T., you are the Newsperson. Jennifer P., you are the old lady. Ashley E., you are the Passerby. Officers One and Two will be played by Jacob R and Jaden H. Santino S, you will be playing. the Ship's Captain Ashley M., you are playing Skipper. Zookeeper's Zee, Zelda and Zoe will be played by Sandra Y, Sadie T, and Ayusma J. Youssap A, you will be playing the Private. Allison A. will be playing Rico. Isaac B, you have Kowalski. Carys L.,  you are playing Maurice. you are playing Maurice. And for our top five parts: Dylan R, you will be playing King Julian. By the way, great job singing! We were so impressed. And. . . here we go:  playing the part of Gloria is Arianna Gomez, nice job!  Playing the part of Melman, Alexis U. Playing the part of . . . let's see Marty, Mark, great job! you're playing Marty; and playing Alex the Lion, that would be Zakery B. Great job everybody!  Can't wait to have our rehearsals and see what we have in May. Everybody have a great day!
