Superintendent's update regarding school reopening for in-person instruction.

As permitted by the California Department of Public Health, Cypress School District submitted an application to reopen its schools for in-person instruction. The Orange County Health Care Agency will make a determination whether to grant or deny the waiver application within 14 days. Click to view the waiver application.

Due to state restrictions, all students will start the school year on the Full-Time Distance Learning schedule. The first day of school is Wednesday, August 26.

Cypress School District is offering online enrollment for new students for the current and upcoming school years.

Join us for two Family Restaurant Nights to help us finish raising money for Sixth Grade Outdoor Science Camp. First night: Tuesday, Feb. 11 at Coach's Corner on Valley View & Ball from 4:00-10:00 p.m. (see flier). Second night: Tuesday, February 18 at McDonalds in La Palma from 4:00-7:00 p.m. See you there!

The APEX Fun Run will be held on Thursday, Dec. 5. The APEX theme this year is "G.A.M.E. O.N." Each day students will meet with "Epic Em" to discuss the character trait of the day. This fundraiser culminates with a Fun Run on December 5 where students will run laps to raise funds based on the pledges they have received from friends and family. This is PTA's primary fundraiser of the year. Funds from this fundraiser will support our Class Act Program, busses for field trips and items for the classroom.
