Parking Lot Safety

An enthusiastic thank you to the parents, family members, and after school care providers who consistently follow our parking lot rules. Everyone knows that a trip though the King parking lot is frustrating and stressful at times, especially on rainy or early release days. These traffic nightmares and delays can be avoided if everyone follows the procedures outlined below, as most of you have been doing. The greatest impact to an orderly trip through the parking lot occurs when someone does not follow the parking lot safety rules. This creates a backup for many onto Moody Street, or unsafe situations in the parking lot. Please take a moment to review the attached parking lot tips.

Enrollment for 2019/2020 School Year

Enrollment for the 2019/20 school year begins on Wednesday, February 27. Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten parents are invited to join us for a Parent Information Meeting on Tuesday February 26. See the attached fliers for more information.

Total Lunar Eclipse Viewing Party

Join us on Sunday, January 20* from 6:30-9:00 p.m. at King School for a Total Lunar Eclipse Viewing Party. Cypress College Astronomy Department will be here with telescopes and many fun activities are planned. Food will be available for sale with all proceeds to go towards Sixth Grade Outdoor Science Camp. See attached flier for more information. *No school on Monday, January 21.

Fall Harvest Carnival is coming Friday, October 26, 2018, 5:00-8:00 p.m.

The Fall Harvest Carnival is coming to King School on Friday, October 26, 2018 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tickets go on sale on Monday, October 15, 2018. Tickets are needed for games, food, inflatables and our famous Scary Maze. Volunteers and donations are needed and welcome. Applications are available for community vendors who are interested.
